Ray Rocket Releases Video for ‘First Time’ As A Tribute To Brother

Being a twin can be the worst thing at times, but having your own built in partner-in-crime is absolutely the best thing in the world. Who else gets you enough to interview puppies or be superman with you?

Ray Carlisle of Teenage Bottlerocket has recently debuted a new album “Do You Wanna Go to Tijuana!” and on it he redid “First Time” with a full band. The song “First Time” first appeared on Teenage Bottlerocket‘s album Tales From Wyoming as an acoustic version. On their birthday, March 31st, he re-released an official music video for it. A beautiful video made up of home movies and memories with his brother.

Teenage Bottlerocket took to their facebook page to show support for Ray, “As you know Ray has a new record coming out tomorrow on Rise Records! Today we are all proud to announce the music video for the newest song off that record: First Time. …This song is particularly special because it was the last song Brandon ever recorded drums on before his untimely death. We still love and miss our brother, best friend and drummer every single day. Today is both his and Ray‘s birthday. This video is a tribute to the beauty of brotherhood, the memory of Brandon, and a celebration of both brothers. We love you dudes. Check out the video below, catch Ray on tour and pick up his record “Do You Wanna Go to Tijuana!” Tour dates and the record can be found here http://rayrocket.merchnow.com/…/…/do-you-wanna-go-to-tijuana
Love TBR

Somewhere out there Brandon is still drumming/rocking out but for now he’s slowing things down and taking a listen to ‘First Time’.
