It’s been ten years since “Miserable At Best” left us all heart broken for the first time, and in true emo fashion, an anniversary celebration to mourn was necessary. We took out our eyeliner, donned on our best band tees and hit the road. Downtown Disney served as a good home for the House of Blues for many years, but as it grew it had to be relocated. HOB is now found at the Anaheim Gardenwalk. Continue reading

3OH!3 are known for their cheeky, in-your-face use of profanity and sexual language, but also for just making it work so well. Since day one Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte have come with a parental advisory label, but we’re not complaining. It has been a couple of years since the release of their last album Omens and even longer since they’ve been the talk of the town but Night Sports is putting the boys back on the radar. Read on!
Hands Like Houses have been working up a storm! They’ve gone from Australian rock band to one for the top bands in the industry. Their music video for Degrees of Separation is quite an art piece. It give chills, but that may just be that “cold is creeping in”. The metaphor built by the video and lyrics play well with each other. Check it out below!
It’s hard to be alone sometimes and it’s even harder to watch people we care about be with the wrong people. Real Friends‘s new single Scared To Be Alone is just about that, settling because you’re scared of being alone. Check it out below!
Being a twin can be the worst thing at times, but having your own built in partner-in-crime is absolutely the best thing in the world. Who else gets you enough to interview puppies or be superman with you?
Jazz was all the rage in the good ol’ days, filling bars and lounges with some nice swing that was soothing and full of soul. Beartooth, though, has a whole new idea… wait for it, Swingcore jazz. Dead (Swingcore Jazz) is just what you’re thinking, a mix of metalcore and Jazz. Check it out!
Pictures can sometimes lie but music never does. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Real Friends, but they’re back and with more than just a new single. A whole new album has been announced. Check it out below!
We all thought Jacky Vincent was done and just going solo, but surprise, surprise he is now a proud member of Cry Venom, and they just released a new lyric video. Check it out below!
Twelve years ago Yellowcard took the world by storm with their single Ocean Avenue. Fast forward in time, different labels and the disappearance of cassettes and they’re working on their 8th studio recording with the Hopeless Records Family again. In between touring, philanthropy and writing new music, it’s exciting to see what they’ll have for us next. While we wait why not rock out to the single that we could never forget. I’ll get you started, “There’s a place off Ocean Avenue. Where I used to sit and talk with you…”
We loved the album version of “Gold” on Madness and we almost died every time we heard it live. Now Sleeping With Sirens has given us the best gift ever! A video for “Gold” from the album ‘Live and Unplugged’. We can relive and enjoy the passion of a live performance along with the behind the scenes fun. We thought that all we wanted was gold but no, we definitely needed this more. We won’t lose our faith in SWS.
Check out the new video below and then tell us what your favorite part was!
