I stop to pick up Odessa at her house, 8 am sharp. She takes one sleepy-eyed look at me, and after having a true rockstar night, and less than an hour of sleep, goes… “Wow you’re all ready and everything, is Warped Tour today?” Needless to say she is really good at doing her makeup in the car, and I’m good at getting us to Seattle in one piece. It’s been nearly a year since Hands Like Houses released the first track ‘I Am’ from their upcoming album, immediately captivating fans with the immense sound and talent behind the track, making Dissonants by far one of the most anticipated albums of 2016.

The word that comes to mind when trying to put the sound of the album into words is BIG. Everything about this album feels on a grandiose scale, from the huge chorus’s packed full of anthemic gang vocals, to the soaring guitars, the bold bass lines, and the epic vocal harmonies.

That’s right! Hands Like Houses have officially revealed the single “New Romantics” from their upcoming album Dissonants. The new album was initially scheduled for release sometime this month, but is now pushed back until spring (we are yet to have an update on an official release date). 6:30pm: We arrive at El Corazon, sun burnt and smiling, Let the show begin!
