Good Charlotte Reminisce On The Good Ol’ Days With New Track “40 Oz Dream”

Our pop-punk hearts melted when we first found out that Good Charlotte were making a comeback. After announcing their hiatus back in September 2011, we’ve spent a long 6 years waiting for new music!

With their hot new album Youth Authority dropping July 15th, be sure to take a listen to their latest single “40 Oz Dream” and check out this super creative DIY colouring book lyric video!

This song is sooo Good Charlotte it hurts. It literally feels like it could easily be off The Young And The Hopeless circa 2002.

In the song, the boys dream about having a 40 Oz while commenting about the humorous struggles of modern day, Punk Rocker’s all over 40 coaching little league, Mom’s taking selfies, and Rocker’s turned DJ’s, it’s really quite overwhelming. But we must say, seeing these middle aged men perform pop-punk definitely has it’s charm.

Don’t worry there are also enough “yeah yeah yeahs”, and “nah nah nahs” to ensure it is a real pop-punk song.

Be sure to catch Good Charlotte on Warped Tour all summer long and you can also find their European scheduled tour dates here!
